History

Aluform System -Technik GmbH is based in Bernsdorf, near Dresden and emerged from The United Aluminium Plants Association Berlin/Bonn (today hydro-aluminium). For more than 40 years, Aluform System -Technik GmbH has been the producer of its long-proven Aluform Systems made from aluminium for architectural use.

Core business:
rolling and bending of wall and roof elements to profiled panels

1992:
takeover by VAW- Bonn – Change of company’s name to “Aluform System-Technik GmbH” 175 employees sale of window production investment - refurbishment of sandwich units setting up of roll mills

1990:
Fall of the Berlin Wall - change of company’s name to “Bernsdorfer Bauelemente GmbH” – termination of inner door production

1970:
assumed the production of Al-PUR-Al Elements

1945:
expropriated – production of windows and inner doors – up to 365 employees and 30 trainees

1910:
was founded as a building material business, production of frame-houses and sheds - up to 1000 employees
